Brazilian teenage sensation, Vinícius Jr. has been officially presented as a Real Madrid player.
Accompanied by Ronaldo Nazario, his family, representatives and club president, Florentino Perez, 18-year old Vinícius was unveiled to the Madrid fans earlier today, 20th of July 2018.
In May 2017, Madrid signed a contract to acquire Vinícius, effective after his 18th birthday on 12 July 2018.
“I know that adapting won’t be easy, but I’m ready. I thank Florentino, Jose Angel [Sanchez] and [Juni] Calafat,” Vinícius said in his first news conference.
“I thank my family for what they have done for me and for my dream, I will not disappoint them.

“Fortunately I was able choose from many great clubs and I chose the world’s best.
“I will stay at Madrid, I will be in the first team and they will decide if I should play some games with Castilla to adapt as quickly as possible.”

Real Madrid paid €46 million for the Brazilian. Madrid will be looking forward to integrate the teenager into its ranks as soon as possible.
